AUTUMN BLAZE MAPLE $75 Now about 10 feet tall, planted in 7 gallon pots
Autumn Blaze grows quickly – often over 2 feet per year, maturing about 30 feet tall with a balanced oval shape. The green 3 inch leaves have silver undersides throughout the summer. Autumn Blaze’s vivid orange-red foliage is one of the most reliable displays of any maple variety and it lasts through the entire fall season. Acer x freemanii ‘Jeffersred’ USDA Zones 3 - 8

October Glory's deep green, large 6 inch leaves turn a brilliant fire-red with hints of orange in fall; they keep this color for a longer season than other varieties, often until Thanksgiving! October Glory grows about 1-1½ feet per year, maturing 25 to 30 feet tall in our area. It gets the best foliage coloration in full sun but also does well in part shade. This fast-growing maple is especially suited to local conditions as it was developed nearby in Boring, Oregon. It has a balanced upright shape, usually getting 20 to 30 feet tall in ten years (averaging 1 to 3 feet per year once established, depending on planting conditions.) It adapts well to various soils, including clay. Plant the Redpointe Maple in full sun to part shade and enjoy its foliage of vivid bright reds for a long-lasting season all autumn. Summer foliage of this maple is deep purple to burgundy depending on how much sun it gets. In fall the foliage turns crimson & bronze. Crimson Sentry is an excellent choice to border a driveway - it stays fairly narrow & under 25 feet tall. When mature it is wind resistant and drought tolerant. This graceful Japanese Maple has dark burgundy colored leaves on cascading branches. It matures at 6 to 10 feet tall & wide.
