Skip Laurel makes an outstanding tall evergreen hedge. It has ornamental glossy leaves that remain dark green through winter. In spring Laurel has fragrant creamy white flowers. It grows quickly, averaging 2 feet (or more) per year, depending on location and planting conditions. Laurel grows in full sun to dense shade and tolerates poor soil, wind, and salt spray. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant when established. These laurel bushes have been grown from seed and are an excellent choice for an attractive fast-growing and trouble-free dense privacy hedge. Prunus laurocerasus ‘Schipkaensis’ USDA Zones 6 - 9.
.We carry clumping bamboo that becomes a "living fence" - a fantastic privacy hedge! This is a variety of bamboo that you can plant directly in the ground as it is non-invasive.
