$25 LIMELIGHT HYDRANGEA - (Garden of Merit Award and Cut Flower of the Year Award)
This Hydrangea is happy planted in part-shade to full sun. Blooms begin a pale lime, transforming into creams, pinks, then burgundy from summer through fall when they can be left on the tree for winter interest, or used in wreaths or dried flower arrangements. Limelight is easy to grow, extremely durable and long-lived, filling the landscape with sweetly scented and eye catching multi-colored flowers.
Limelight usually matures about 6 to 8 feet tall; Limelight Prime about 4 to 6 feet. Zones 3 - 9
These are planted in 2 or 3 gallon grow bags and are now about 4 to 4 1/2 feet tall.

RED PRINCE is the most hardy Weigela and does well in our climate. It has long trumpet-shaped red flowers for a long blooming season in spring. (And often it reblooms in late summer or fall). The bush grows 5 to 8 feet tall, making a stunning summer flowering hedge. NATIVE OAKLEAF HYDRANGEA SNOW QUEEN- This Gold Medal Award winning bush blooms from early summer until fall frost with pure-white flowers that are supported by strong stems. They attract butterflies and make excellent dried flower arrangements. Lovely and unique oak-shaped dark green leaves turn bronze/red in autumn and flowers fade to a dusty rose. Peeling bark adds interest in winter. A row provides privacy and makes a 4 to 6 foot tall hedge. It will grow in full sun to deep shade and still bloom. $10 BLUE MIST SPIREA (Bluebeard Bush) - Named for airy, powder-blue flowers resembling clouds of blue haze, the bushes have a long blooming season – all the way to fall frosts. The foliage is fragrant; the bush attracts bees, butterflies & hummingbirds, getting about 2½ to 3 feet tall. Stunning planted in groupings or as a border. $10 TWINBERRY HONEYSUCKLE BUSH– a good choice for native or wildlife gardens. In spring it has yellow flowers followed in summer by glossy black berries with deep red bracts. These attract quail, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Native North Americans used the fruit, stem, and leaves for dye and other purposes. Twinberry matures into a graceful bush about 5 to 6 feet tall. $10 HARDY HIBISCUS BUSH This bush has eye-catching ruffled flowers in bloom all summer long, up to the first hard frost. The lush double-bloomed flowers have subtle variations in hues of blue and soft lilac. A row of Hardy Hibiscus bushes creates an effective flowering summer privacy hedge that matures about 8 to 12 feet tall. Hardy Hibiscus is remarkably easy to grow, tough, deer resistant and heat/cold tolerant. This Hardy Hibiscus variety thrives in the Portland area – all the ones we sell are propagated from a bush that has flourished here on the farm for over a decade.
